When I was a young man working in radio, our newsroom had a satellite printer that would spit out breaking news in real time. When it started printing, everyone would rush over to see what was coming through–literally hot off the press.

Well, here’s some hot off the press news: CrossPoint Church is a generous and blessed church.

Throughout our Unleashed: Ready for the Future series, we talked about generosity–not as a transfer of wealth, but as a transformation of discipleship. We’ve been reminded that everything we have comes from God, and we are called to steward it well.

My prayer has been, and always will be, that we are not mastered by things or enslaved to money, but instead that these resources serve us as we serve our God.

And we’re seeing that become a reality.

CrossPoint, you stepped up. Already, we have seen $2,472,879 pledged toward our $5 million, 3-year goal.

This is more than a number.

It’s a statement of faith.
It’s a declaration of hope.
It’s a partnership in the work God is doing.

Just imagine what God will do through this:

  • Churches will be planted

  • Men and women will be trained and sent into ministry

  • Locations will be strengthened, improved, and positioned to thrive

All of this is happening because of God’s generosity toward us, and your generosity in response to Him.

I can’t fully express how grateful I am to be part of a church like this.

Too often, we see churches that are struggling, plateaued, or declining, and almost always, they share one thing in common: an inward focus. When a church becomes consumed with protecting what it has or serving itself, things begin to tighten.

But when a church lifts its eyes, sees that the fields are ripe for harvest, and chooses the Great Commission over the “great omission,” something powerful happens:

The presence and blessing of Jesus becomes unmistakable.

We shouldn’t be surprised.

Jesus told us to go, make disciples of all nations, baptize, teach, and He promised that He would be with us.

And that’s exactly where we want to be, right where He is at work.

Thank you for being part of that.
Thank you for your faith.
Thank you for your generosity.

More of Him, less of me.

Next Steps

1. Make Your Commitment (Pledge)
You can submit your Vision campaign commitment online at crosspointchurch.com/unleashed. A commitment simply lets us know what you’re planning to give over the course of the campaign so we can steward and plan well as a church.

2. Turn Your Commitment Into Giving
Once you’ve made a commitment, you can begin giving toward it at any time. If you submitted your pledge online, you’ll receive an email with instructions on how to begin giving. If you turned in a physical commitment card at church, you’ll receive that same email once your card has been entered into the system. Many people choose to set up recurring giving to make this step simple and consistent. If you give online, we also encourage using ACH (bank transfer) rather than a credit card when possible, as it helps reduce processing fees and allows more of every gift to go directly toward ministry.

3. Explore the Vision
You can view a digital version of the Unleashed Case Study on our website. It walks through the heart, strategy, and vision behind this initiative and how these steps help position CrossPoint for greater ministry impact in the years ahead.
